Chronic, nagging hip and low back tightness have the potential to interrupt athletic performance. This workshop will cover Benny Vaughn’s massage therapy strategies for resolving these issues, including accurate orthopedic assessment, a basic understanding of fascial anatomy, kinesiology and tensegrity, and techniques for the hip and pelvis. When you administer therapy to the hip and pelvis, the entire lower extremity benefits!

What to Bring

Massage tables will be provided. Please bring the following supplies:

  • sheets - fitted sheet & cover sheet
  • towels - 2 bath towels
  • face cradle covers
  • 2 pillows
  • 1 bolster
  • massage cream / massage oil (unscented)

About the Instructor

Benny Vaughn has 42 years of experience as a Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist. He is also an NATA, Board Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Benny has served at four Summer Olympic Games as a member of Team USA sports medicine. Mr. Vaughn was an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the University of Florida Athletic Association for track and field, swimming and football. Benny Vaughn is a full time massage therapist with a clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. He works as a massage therapist with College, Professional and Olympic, Track & Field athletes.
